Father Day/Masculine themed card

Weekend again! The only time that I have time to really think and start creating cards.. apparently for this week, my mojo is just not that fantastic. Was only able to create one card haha.. Here it goes..

This card is for a guy friend, trying to add the masculine element in the card by the adding of twine and brown newspaper, and of course, Crackled Paint! However, as I wanted this card to be cheery, I also add touches of green and pink to brighten up the card. Hopefully when he received the card, he will feel happier since he had been really down on his mood these days.

Take Wing

Hi everyone,

It's the weekend again! How did everyone spend their weekend? It's crazily hot today and it was made worse by the hiking that I went in the morning, now I am totally sunburnt and feeling all so warm.. hopefully it's not falling sick again.. haha

I made a card today, theme inspiration coming from: Clean and Simple. Which is something I like to create because I am using one of two of my favorite things - Butterfly and the color white. This time I had used a more off-white cardstock as I had wanted the butterfly to stand out more. I had the image and sentiments stamped in a glittery sparkling silver to make them more wedding-like, which I like the feel. It looks rather clean in my opinion. I had also heat embossed the butterfly to make it stand out more, but it seemed like the photo did not show out that clearly. Sad..

Papers used: white and pastel pink cardstocks
Supplies used: Inkadinkado Butterfly wood set, Quickutz Nesting Scallop Ovals, Brilliance Starlite Silver ink & clear embossing powder

L.O.V.E

Well, since it's still Mother's Day, I have decided to make a quick card and I have named it Love. I had made use of Lifestyle Craft cutting dies to create the shape of the card.

Handmade dolly flower, my maiden use of my newly bought EK Success Dimensional Flower Punch that I got from a steal at my LSS. Wow, the flower really popped! What do you think? I'm so going to do more of these flowers since it's really addictive and I'm still not that satisfied with this first attempted flower.

Will be sleeping soon since I still had to wake up early next morning at 6am -___- (by the way, it's about 12am here in Singapore haha). Good night babes!

Baked with Love

Hi everyone!

How's the weekend coming along? Today's Mother Day! Here's wishing all Mothers a blessed and wonderful Sunday Mother Day! =)

For me, I had already brought my mother out for celebration earlier last week as the restaurants in Singapore get really full this week and we hate crowds.. haha! Here's another card that I made, based on a sketch Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. This is the sketch ;)

And this is my take on it:

Supplies used: MME Laundry Line PP, own stash of pale yellow ribbon, Stampendous Clear Stamps

White and Pure

Hi,

My first card surfacing on this blog haha! I got the inspiration from totallypapercafts where they are hosting a White on White challenge! Moreover, I was in no mood for colour today as I had fallen ill and today was a day where I popped my medication, rest and spend the hot afternoon doing the card.

Actually I am quite happy how it turned out, haha! It gives a very pure and clean feeling, and the card is suitable for almost all occasion. Be it as a birthday gift to your loved ones, or a Mother's Day gift! (Mother's Day is coming in less than a week!) And I totally heart my handmade butterfly made from clay, it's so cute! What do you think?

Supplies used: White Cardstock, Prima Wildflowers Pillar Pack White, Martha Stewart Scroll Heart

My first post

Yippee,

I finally started a blog! Been always wanting to set up a blog, but the thought was always put aside amidst all the hectic work schedules and the fear of trying to create a blog. Apparently, I am not that tech-savvy, so the thought of creating a blog seems soooo difficult! So, imagine my total satisfaction when this baby is created fter months of learning about widgets, blogger help and Google help. *beams*

And I shall start my second post with a picture of a card that I will be submitting for challenges haha!

xoxo
