Tilda with Orange and Cream :p

Today, I've decided to use the one colour scheme that I seldom explore - Orange! It's one of my friend's favourite colour, for it signifies boldness and loud, which suits my dear friend well haha. But to use this colour in a card, and using only two colours - orange and cream, well, that something of a first for me. This colour scheme was given by 7kids College Fund Challenge for the week.

(image taken from 7kids challenge)

Cute image right, and definitely challenging my mojo! I'm actually quite glad at how the card turns out, here's the card:

I have actually coloured my Tilda in orange as well, so that this card will be just two colours haha. This card will be given to a dear friend who just came out from hospital, and finally able to see sunshine! So happy for her! Time to celebrate! =)

Simon Says Stamp Challenge... Anything but a card

Hi everyone,

It's Monday, a brand new start to a new week.. How's everyone's weekend? I decided to make a journal book for myself so that I can jot down any ideas that I had on the go. My first time trying out bookbinding, and I dare say it's looked more difficult that it looked. I was supposed to finish by the weekend, however it took me much longer than expected as my thread tore which subsequently tore my pages.. (sigh talk about clumsiness & waste of resources).

Here's the final product, though I think I should be able to make a better one next time haha!

1 of a kind

Hello everyone,

Summer is here.. how's everyone enjoying the summer? Summer is full of bright yellow sun and the grasses look even greener before due to the bright sun! For this girl who is living in a country that is perpetually having summer most of the time, summer is probably not so much fun for me. It is so hot these days, so hard to concentrate on my work, and that results in a lag of mojo for me as well. Haha, but for kids who are for summer, my local swimming pool is filled with the many kids and their parents, enjoying a lovely day in the cold water. =)

Anyway, my card for today is based on a sketch by A Gem of a Challenge. Here's the sketch:
*courtesy from A Gem of a Challenge

And this is my interpretation for the sketch: A cherry girl full of sunshine (slightly different feel from my previous one)

Supplies used:
Papers: Glitz Design- Dance in Sunshine Polka, Flair Design - Summer Daze Collection, Dark Brown CS
Stamp: Hero Art Girl Holding Flower, Hero Art sentiments - 1 of a Kind
Punch: EK Success small and big Butterfly, Daisy
Others: Black Gems
